I come here because the food is good however the Customer Service on the phone while taking orders and face to face is HORRIBLE! I have supported this black business plenty of times and today that day. I called and placed an order chicken wings dipped in barbecue sauce once I get there go to my car the order wrong! I go back in tell the girl at the counter and she mad because I said it should have been done right after waiting so long and I had the lady repeat my order back to me on the phone because I know how they are at times. As I’m waiting for them to correct my order me and the other customers hear them back there talking about me and laughing and giggling it’s so UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WILL NOT BE BACK. Bring back Customer Service to this establishment!

Whoever the cook is today, November 25, 2023 get a minus 10. The chicken wings are half cooked, blood in the inside of all of them. How can you get wings wrong? We waited a long time to be disappointed. Usually the food is good but I’ve never gotten wings. I always get turkey chops and those looks half done today. I’m super disappointed today and mad.

If you looking for some great jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection I highly recommend this place, so much so I drive front the west side of Detroit to get this!

I bought a pound of shrimp from them today and as I was eating, I began to feel sick. The shrimp were cooked a nice golden brown, but the batter was did not cook inside. I called the restaurant and the lady told me to bring them back and she will let me know what she can do. Well, a man assisted me when I returned and I told him about the batter and me getting sick. Not once did he apologize for me getting sick. He was only concerned about how many shrimp I ate and he asked what did I want him to do and I told him that I wanted my money back and I do not have to return. The resolve to the problem is to put the shrimp in the oven to make sure that they cooked throughout. As you can see in his response, he did not apologize for the shrimp making me sick. I ordered the shrimp on my lunch break and I told the lady that I would bring them back after I get off work. Please learn to ask questions and not make assumptions.

My selection here is one item from the menu; which is the only thing that I eat there. I eat meat only once a week and start with catfish. What is sold there is always fresh delicious and full-size pieces.

Today was my first time trying this place and I was NOT disappointed! The catfish is amazing and the Mac and cheese is delicious! I even bought some fresh homemade cookies and those were on point. I’ve found my new spot. Definitely giving them 5 stars
